GEMS World Academy Medical Centre


The GEMS World Academy Medical Centre is located at the ground C wing opposite to Fitness room. It is operating as a one-stop shop in providing immediate medical services available to all, encompassing a capacity of 4 beds.

The centre boasts with sophisticated medical equipment such as a cardiac monitor, automated electric defibrillator, nebulizer, as well as the oxygen apparatus which all compliment better medical first aid response.

The Centre also enforces student care by providing health services which are inline to UAE laws, administrative regulations and Academy board policies. This is ensured by monitoring the health needs of each student and thereby providing medical services that are suited for every individual. By doing so, the centre provides optimal learning opportunities by identifying individual health needs improving each student’s ability to learn.

The Medical Centre is (wo)manned by two qualified Academy Nurse's, Mary Jane Torreon and Lovely Daniel.
