This website provides you with information about our school and the ways in which we are becoming the international school of choice in this region. The Academy has a range of facilities providing excellent opportunities for students. Our IB Program K-12 provides an excellent experience in school life for our students. Grade 12 opens this year! There is an ambitious team dedicated to establishing The Academy, whom I hope you will meet when you visit us.

Our mission is to provide an outstanding education ensuring university opportunities and admission, and a rich, fulfilling adult life. Students at GWA will integrate into our multicultural world with ease. Unlocking and enhancing students’ academic potential is central to our mission as well as ensuring a holistic education where personal, social, emotional sporting, artistic and other extra-curricular activities are supported. Our practice follows the IBO student learner profile.
GEMS World Academy (GWA) Dubai offers the IB Diploma Program. The Academy is an associate member of The Council of International Schools (CIS). As a new, emerging premium school, we recognize accreditation as a long process in self study and continuous improvement. Join us on our journey!
The Enrichment program at GWA-Dubai already offers a wide range of after school activities (ASAs) for students, directed by both school and private facilities and services. These change several times a year.
Most important is that we genuinely believe that each student is unique and special. Therefore, personalized learning with individual targets and learning skills are paramount. We work in partnership with families. Teachers will be supported with IB, GEMS, and ongoing professional development to ensure students are as successful as possible.
